OIW2019 Organizers workshop recap:experience design

On Tuesday 2 April, we welcomed our fellow Oslo Innovation Week event organizers to Folk Oslo to learn more about event experience design, and how to supercharge your event marketing machine.

Susanne Wexels, Project manager at marketing firm Coupler, showcased their simple (yet effective) event marketing blueprint.

She provided some tips and tricks as to how you can plan and execute your marketing in order to supercharge its effect.


Former organizers Marianne Welle from the Oslo Region,

and Hege Tollerud from Oslo Edtech Cluster shared their experience and motivations for hosting an event during Oslo Innovation Week


Lastly, Niels Kjærgaard-Jensen, from creative agency Fieldwork, gave an insightful talk on Experience design

before he guided the attendees through an engaging workshop, where everyone got to flex their creativity.

Some numbers:

  • attendees gave the event an average score of 4.7 out of 5.0
  • 100% got useful ideas.
  • 91.7 % got useful new contacts.
