This is a call to action to each and everyone to participate in Hack the Crisis Norway – an online hackathon set up to meet the challenges caused by the outbreak of the Coronavirus Disease. The event is organised by volunteers from the tech and startup community in Norway.
In a hackathon, people come together to create solutions and concepts from scratch in a short amount of time, addressing current problems. Over the course of a weekend, people all over Norway will join forces to create innovative solutions to the current crisis.
We are inviting all problem solvers to participate and show us how you would tackle various challenges. We need people with all kinds of knowledge and expertise (tech or startup is not a criteria) to join as individuals, teams, mentors and sponsors. Or submit a challenge.
The winner in each category gets 100,000 NOK to develop their idea, the runners up takes away 50,000 NOK each.
The event starts this coming Friday, 27 March at 4pm.
Sign up before Thursday 26 March at 11:59.
