He got his PhD in organizational and management studies from NTNU/ Department of Industrial Economics, and has background experience from consultancy and organizational research. Birgit M. Liodden
Director of Sustainability, Ocean Industries & Communication

Birgit Liodden is among the most profiled young shipping female executives globally and fronted the first public #MeToo discussions in shipping. For the past 10 years she has promoted the next generation, diversity, sustainability and the need for change across the maritime industry. She holds board roles in The Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue, RS Sea Rescue Academy, Bellona. Her maritime background includes 5 years in Wilh. Wilhelmsen head office, working on global HR&IT projects, and 4,5 years as an entrepreneur, working with a.o. Nor-Shipping, OECD, Wilh.Maritime Services and Sea Trucks Nigeria.  She was awarded Shipping Name of The Year in Norway (2012), and was a finalist for World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders 2018.

Siw is in charge of Oslo Innovation Week and all events Oslo Business Region organizes abroad. She is passionate about the crossroads of tech, people and creativity. Previously she has worked as a project and event manager, fashion editor and head of operations in creative industries and media, many of them startups. Siw holds a BA in Visual Art from Oslo National Academy of the Arts and Central Saint Martins, and culture and entrepreneurship studies from the University of Oslo and National University of Singapore.

Silje has in recent years worked with commercialization of technology and cutting edge research from the science and technology environments at the University of Oslo and Oslo University Hospital. In addition to working with entrepreneurship, collaboration strategies and innovation management in the public sector, Silje has worked at the knowledge transfer group at CERN in Geneva, and spent time in Montreal in Canada doing a post graduate program in space technology studies. She even tried out a few startup ventures that never gave glory or fame, but strength and priceless experience. Silje has a BSc in Marketing from BI, and an MSc in Entrepreneurship from NTNU.

She has held leading positions in Orkla for 20 years, among them being Executive Vice President and member of Orkla Group Executive Board and CEO of Nidar. She is currently Partner in XO Executive Advisors. Ms. Solhaug has been a member of the board in PSI Group ASA (currently StrongPoint) since April 30, 2015.

He has previously worked with Abax, Wema, Crayon, Life, and Panorama for Norvestor, and has also been CFO in Crayon Group post-acquisition and delisting in 2012. He currently sits on the Board of IT Gården AB, an IT outsourcing company based in South-Sweden. Furthermore, Mr. Shad owns a few retail shops within jewelry and confectionery market. Prior experience includes DNB Bank ASA, Telenor ASA, Telenor Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited, Skatteetaten (the Norwegian IRS), Coop Norge SA and ICA Norge AS.
