Fredrik comes from the position as Managing Director and Innovation Manager at Oslo Teknopol. He got his PhD in organizational and management studies from NTNU/ Department of Industrial Economics, and has background experience from consultancy and organizational research. His main field of interests are entrepreneurship and startups, business development, city branding and positioning, regional development and Os!o.

Birgit M. Liodden
Director of Sustainability, Ocean Industries & Communication

Birgit Liodden is among the most profiled young shipping female executives globally and fronted the first public #MeToo discussions in shipping. For the past 10 years she has promoted the next generation, diversity, sustainability and the need for change across the maritime industry. She holds board roles in The Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue, RS Sea Rescue Academy, Bellona. Her maritime background includes 5 years in Wilh. Wilhelmsen head office, working on global HR&IT projects, and 4,5 years as an entrepreneur, working with a.o. Nor-Shipping, OECD, Wilh.Maritime Services and Sea Trucks Nigeria.  She was awarded Shipping Name of The Year in Norway (2012), and was a finalist for World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders 2018.

Siw loves categorizing chaos, make it operational and build. She’s in charge of Oslo Innovation Week and all the small and large scale international projects at Oslo Business Region. She is passionate about Oslo and community building – as well as the crossroads of people, tech and creativity. After several operational and strategic roles in creative industries, she played a big part in building the Norwegian fashion ecosystem.  As fashion editor she was awarded Best in Show at Grafill and Gold at the SPD Awards in the US. Siw holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts and Central Saint Martins, and entrepreneurship from the University of Oslo and National University of Singapore.

Prior to Soundrop he spent many years at Warner Music, most recently working as Marketing Director. Johan Chr. Hovland is Director of Hydro Power Operations in E-CO Energi AS, a company in the Hafslund E-CO group, which is wholly owned by Oslo municipality. Hovland has been SVP for Corporate Communication and Public Affairs in the energy company Hafslund ASA, in the branded consumer goods Orkla ASA and in the metals producer Elkem AS. Hovland has been Director Hydro Power Operations and Managing Director of Elkem Energi AS. He is and has been a member of the board of several energy companies. Hovland has also worked for the Federation of Processing Industries and the Norwegian Ministry for Industry and Energy. Hovland holds an MBA from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH).

She has held leading positions in Orkla for 20 years, among them being Executive Vice President and member of Orkla Group Executive Board and CEO of Nidar. She is currently Partner in XO Executive Advisors. Ms. Solhaug has been a member of the board in PSI Group ASA (currently StrongPoint) since April 30, 2015.

He has previously worked with Abax, Wema, Crayon, Life, and Panorama for Norvestor, and has also been CFO in Crayon Group post-acquisition and delisting in 2012. He currently sits on the Board of IT Gården AB, an IT outsourcing company based in South-Sweden. Furthermore, Mr. Shad owns a few retail shops within jewelry and confectionery market. Prior experience includes DNB Bank ASA, Telenor ASA, Telenor Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited, Skatteetaten (the Norwegian IRS), Coop Norge SA and ICA Norge AS. Mr. Shad holds a BA in Business and Economics from the Norwegian School of Management and an M.Sc. in International Accounting and Finance from Cass Business School (London City University), London
