Attractivity is an indicator of international competitiveness. In order to find out how attractive the world really finds Oslo, we have commissioned Prof. Greg Clark and his team at the Business of Cities Group in London to do ”An outside in view of Oslo.”
This report is the 3rd edition of the Oslo: State of the city with a review of Oslo in international indexes. It draws on all the global indexes and benchmarks in which Oslo appears, from a total dataset of over 100 indexes. Utilizing these indexes the report identifies Oslo’s current performance and reputation in the existing 16 thematic areas within four overarching themes: Business, Liveability, Hospitality, and Governance. It evaluates Oslo’s performance on a 10-point scale.
